What is Cursor Space for Chrome?

Cursor Space for Chrome is a free browser extension that lets you change your mouse pointer with custom and animated cursor packs. Install it from the Chrome Web Store, then browse packs on this site or in the extension.

How do I install Cursor Space?

1) Open the Chrome Web Store listing for Cursor Space for Chrome. 2) Click “Add to Chrome” and confirm. 3) Pin the extension from the toolbar if you like. 4) Browse packs on this site or in the extension, then apply one from the Packs tab. 5) Refresh the page to see your new cursor.

Is the extension free?

Yes. Cursor Space for Chrome is free to install from the Chrome Web Store. Most cursor packs on this site are free to browse and apply; a few may be marked premium depending on licensing.

Which browsers are supported?

We officially support Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge (Chromium). Other Chromium browsers (such as Brave) often work, but Chrome and Edge are the best-tested.

Do I need to create an account?

No account is required to install the extension or apply free packs from the catalog.

Apply a cursor pack

Quick answers to common questions about cursor packs, collections, and installation.

How do I apply a cursor pack from this site?

1) Install Cursor Space from the Chrome Web Store if you have not already. 2) Open a pack page (from /packs, /tops, or a collection). 3) Click the install or add button on the pack page. 4) Open the extension → Packs tab and select the pack. 5) Refresh the page so the custom cursor loads on every site.

What is the difference between packs and collections?

A pack is a single cursor set (default pointer, hand, and other states). A collection groups several packs around a theme—anime, neon, pixel art, and more—so you can discover similar styles faster.

Can I switch between packs?

Yes. Open the Cursor Space extension, go to Packs, and select another pack. Refresh open tabs if the previous cursor still appears.

Can I use a custom cursor without an extension?

In the browser, custom cursors need an extension like Cursor Space. For changing the mouse pointer on Windows outside the browser, use a separate Windows cursor changer app.

Troubleshooting

Quick answers to common questions about cursor packs, collections, and installation.

The cursor did not change. What should I try?

Try these quick fixes: • Refresh the page after applying the pack. • Confirm the pack is active in the extension Packs tab. • Disable other cursor-changing extensions (conflicts are common). • Make sure Cursor Space is enabled on chrome://extensions. • Test on another website—some pages force the system cursor.

Why does it work on some websites but not others?

Some sites override cursor styling for security or UX reasons. On those pages, custom cursors may be limited or disabled even when the pack is active elsewhere.

The extension icon is missing from my toolbar

Click the puzzle-piece Extensions icon in Chrome, find Cursor Space, and click the pin icon. You can also open chrome://extensions and ensure the extension is enabled.

Privacy & safety

Quick answers to common questions about cursor packs, collections, and installation.

Is Cursor Space safe to install?

Yes when you install from the official Chrome Web Store listing. Prefer the verified Cursor Space for Chrome page, keep the extension updated, and only add packs from trusted catalog pages on this site.

Does the extension collect my personal data?

The Chrome Web Store listing states that the developer does not collect or use your data for this extension. Packs themselves do not collect personal information. See the extension privacy policy on the store page for the latest details.

What permissions does it need?

Review the permissions shown on the Chrome Web Store before you click “Add to Chrome”. Only approve what you are comfortable with; you can remove the extension anytime from chrome://extensions.

How do I turn off a custom cursor without uninstalling?

Open the Cursor Space popup and restore the default cursor, or disable the extension on chrome://extensions. Disabling keeps the extension installed so you can turn it back on later.

How do I uninstall Cursor Space?

Open chrome://extensions, find Cursor Space for Chrome, and click Remove. Refresh open tabs so the system pointer returns everywhere.

How do I remove a single pack?

Open the extension → Packs, find the pack, and remove or disable it. Switching to another pack also stops the previous one from applying.

More help

Quick answers to common questions about cursor packs, collections, and installation.

Where can I browse all packs and collections?

Use /packs for the full library, /tops for popular rankings, and /collections for themed sets. After installing the extension, apply any pack from its page or from the Packs tab.

Does Cursor Space work on Windows desktop (outside Chrome)?

The Chrome extension only changes the cursor inside the browser. For a system-wide Windows mouse pointer, use a separate Windows cursor changer—not the browser extension.
